The Education and Award Subcommittee for the 2026 edition of Igogo Ekiti Day celebrations has released an update on the various categories of scholarship, prizes, and special bursary awards for
deserving students for the 2026 academic circle.
The grants, sponsored by different families and individuals of Igogo Ekiti extraction, combine cash prizes
with certificates, which will be presented them during the grand finale of the event, aim to celebrate the
ingenuity of the upcoming generation as well as to assist them in their educational pursuits.
The sponsors are optimistic that lending helping hands to deserving students, some of whom are
indigent or orphans, will renew their hope for better future and rekindle their faith in humanity that some public spirited persons still feel for them and acknowledge their need for assistance.
The sponsors promised to continue to give, as long as the beneficiaries justify the gestures by putting more efforts in their studies in order to make Igogo Ekiti proud as responsible citizens and professionals in future.
