All the Staff of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, RUGIPO Staff Primary and Secondary Schools have been disengaged with immediate effect.
In the disengagement letter addressed to all the workers and signed by the Polytechnic’s Acting Registrar, Mr Sule Atiku, said the sack would take effect from August 5th, 2019.
The number of the staff are yet to be ascertained as at the press time but the management defended its action by saying that the school had been privatized as a result of huge recurrent expenses of running the staff schools.
