Prophet Sotitobire case transfered to High court




Nigerians were shocked over non appearance of Prophet Alfa Babatunde popularly known as Sotitobire who was expected to appear before the court on Wednesday on the case linking him with the missing one year old boy.

Those who assembled at then magistrates court at Oke Eda Akure waited for hours before news filtered in that the case has been shifted to the state high court.

Security men were also seen manning strategic areas at the premises of the court.

It was gathered that the case necessary documents are being perfected for the case to commence tomorrow, Thursday.

It was also gathered that the case was mentioned before the magistrates but there was no appearance of all parties involved in the suit.

A staff of the judiciary, James Adetoba told news men that the case would not be holding at the magistrates court.

Counsel the Prophet alfa Babatunde,  Olusola Oke confirmed that the case had been formally transferred to the high court which informed why it did not come up on Wednesday as schedule.

He said the case would begin afresh at the high court in akure and assured that his client will be in court to defend himself.

While some left immediately, Many others still stayed even after they got the news that hearing would no longer take place.
