The founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet T.B Joshua, has donated 110 bags of rice and a sum of two-hundred and twenty thousand naira to Akungba community to cushion the effects of economic hardship of COVID-19 on the people.
While delivering the palliatives today at the palace of the monarch of the community, the EmmanuelTv team who brought the items to the community on behalf of the renowned Prophet, said the grains and cash are for all residents of the University town.
In his royal response, the paramount ruler of the community, the Alale of Akungba Akoko Oba Isaac Sunday Adeyeye, Ajimo III, extolled the good deeds and and genuine generosity of Prophet T.B Joshua, whom he called a true son of Akoko land.
"The Prophet is holy and illustrious. He has always come to the rescue of his people in times of dire need. He was instrumental to the reconnection of towns Akokoland to power supply after paying millions to clear a huge electricity debt owed by all.
"This time around, he has offered to feed thousands of homes in Akoko land. Our prayers is for him to live long and continue to be of good use to humanity", said the joyous King.
In the same vein, High Chief Adesegun Ado, the Olori of Okele Quarters, appreciated the deep love expressed by Prophet Joshua to the people of the community during this perilous period.
Similarly, Elder Ademola Rotoye, the Youth Leader of Akungba, thanked the team for extending hands of relief to the needy in the land.
Meanwhile, the Akoko South West Youth Forum was also grateful to the Founder of Synagogue Church of all Nations for his timely intervention and rescue mission in the Local Government Area.
