Details of the two new cases are still sketchy as at the time of this report, but the commissioner for health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro who confirmed the report, explained that the patients were from Lagos and Sokoto states.
Also the state Commissioner for information, Donald Ojogo had yesterday confirmed the treatment and discharging of five more COVID-19 patients
According to Ojogo, the treated and discharged patients of the dreaded virus have become eleven.
Against this backdrop, only six active cases are currently being monitored in accordance with prescribed globally-accepted protocols at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Akure, the state capital.
