A High Court sitting in Owo, has given the verdict that Mr Rotimi Dairo-Elebese is eligible to contest for the post of Olupele of Ipele Owo.
In a-three hour ruling, headed by Justice David Kolawole stated that the list of aspirants for the position generated on April 11, 2016 which included the claimant, Dairo-Elebese and defendant, Chief Segun Aganun and Four others should be used by the Kingmakers in selecting the next Olupele.
According to PRECISION NG, the people of Ipele are already in joyous mood following the judgment which they believe is a reprieve for the town because the Olupele stool had been vacant in the last Five years.
