Some suspected thugs believed to be member of All Progressives congress attack PDP convoy at Oba Akoko
The attack which was made at People’s Democratic Party rally in Oba Akoko in Akoko Southwest of Ondo State was orchestrated by some suspected hoodlums believe to be member of All Progressive Congress.
People’s Democratic Party gubernatorial aspirants, Eyitayo Jegede SAN was at the Olobas palace when APC convoy which was allegedly led by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu started shutting and causing damages to vehicles
The situation brought panic thereby making people scampering for safety
In his reaction, Eyitayo Jegede SAN while briefing the press however said people should not be panic about the situation.
"I have contacted the necessary authories to come to thier aids and no intimidation can deter them from winning"
He therfore appeal to supporters not to cause any trouble but to go out to vote on election time.
In his response, The Oloba of Oba, H.R.M. N. A Aderogoye 1 expressed displeasure over the attack and urged his people not retaliate, but allow peace to reign
