Rugipo students urged to shun negligence, embrace hardworking

The Director of the Directorate of Students affairs, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo,  Mr. M O. Oloye has charged Students to shun negligence on their part and embrace hard work for the school to pass through them. 

Mr. Oloye made this known during an interview  with our correspondent today

He commended the management of the citadel of knowledge for making sure that all measures spelt out by the federal government to curtail the spread of Coronavirus pandemic has been put in place, but also blame the students for not adhering to the guidelines 

"The attitude of students are not encouraging. putting on Nose masks only at the gate just to fulfill all righteousness is not the best way to prevent ourselves from pandemic." he said 

He further emphasized that the circular for this semester remains unchanged as the semester is very short. 

He however urged students to face their studies squarely and  maximise their time in a productive way and also comply with the COVID-19 precautions by wearing of Nose masks everywhere in the Campus, possession of a pocket Hand Sanitizer for personal and regular use, Hand washing before entering the School and to observe Social physical distancing in Class and other preventive measures

"By adhering to this, it will go a long way in preventing the spread of covid 19"  he said.
