The Assistant Regional Youth Head of the Apostolic Faith Church, Ado Ekiti Region, Mr. Olamide Omojola who represented the Ado Ekiti Regional Overseer, Reverend Funso Sobowale, has disclosed that Jesus is the answer to the problems ravaging the world today.
He made this disclosure during the National Programme of the Apostolic Faith Campus Fellowship, Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE Chapter) on Thursday July 15,2021 at the faculty of science Lecture hall.
In his words, "it is a good thing that is happening on the campus (FUOYE) today
"The society at large is decaying and there are problems all over the land ranging from insecurity, kidnapping, academic challenges for the students, financial constraints, and many other problems.
"I want to tell you today that Jesus is the answer Mr. Olamide Omojola expressed that as a result of the problems in the world , we have taken the responsibility as a group called by God to take the good news to the world where there is no hope and to let them know that there is an answer and solution to their problems and challenges.
The Youth Leader further said, “ among all these, we have the duty as group called out to the entire world where hopelessness prevail, that all these problems, difficulties and challenges, there is an answer and solution to them”. He sreessed further.
Omojola said “ by the grace of God, this programme is musical concert. But, it is more than music and all the things that will be coming forth is going to be a message of hope that all the problems prevailing all over the land, there is an answer. And I don’t want to preempt what you will witness in the programme, we will see what exactly is the answer and solution to life problem”.
He expressed further that “Apostolic Faith Campus Fellowship ( AFCF) is a campus wing of Apostolic Faith Church and that Apostolic Faith Church is a very strong denomination within and outside Nigeria.
"We have our headquarter at Oregon in the USA, we have our West and Central Africa Headquarters in Anthony Village, Lagos
and we are present all over the countries
In a chat with FUOYE News, the Man of God stated that any organization that wants to strive must not hold younger generation with hand of levity.
"By the grace of God, we cannot stay there in the town and leave the Students.
That is why the Church is concerned about reaching out to the Campus”.
"Campus evangelism is one key area, one key focus of Apostolic Faith Church, that is why we are present in Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), and not just here but also in other campuses adding that ,our operations, services, and everything other things are done as guided by the Church and that every other thing is to evangelise the Gospel that was given free by Christ Jesus. What is of utmost concern to us is the spiritual welfare of the people”.
Mr. Omojola also stressed the relevance of the programme by saying that the answer they are presenting which is Jesus Christ will not only liberate someone from financial crisis, diseases, family issues, and any other problems. But, is going to do fundamental works.
"In any man, in any group, in any student where the fundamental work is done, he lives at peace with the society and authority. And that is what we have come to do today in songs and in short talk that will follow, we are presenting the answer.
Another relevance of the programme as mentioned by Olamide is “that sins will be confessed, ask for Mercy and forgiveness of sins from the Lord Jesus Christ who is the answer to our problems”.
Speaking further, he said “ there shall be deliverance for any student or persons who are still under the yoke of the devil because the hope is very much available”. Continuing, he said that such souls will be at ease and peace with themselves, family, campus, students all over and the society at large.
He said “ and if that transformation is done in every human's heart in this country, Nigeria will experience a very good transformation which is our desire”.
