Former Military Governor of Ondo State, Rear Admiral Sunday Abiodun Olukoya(rtd) is dead.
He died on Tuesday during a brief illness at the age of 72.
He was the Governor of the old Ondo State between 1989 and 1992.
He took over from Commodore Olabode George and handed over to late Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua.
It was Olukoya that named Ondo State "Sunshine State". We mourn you.
