The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,Oyo State representative, Mrs Juliet Odogwu has called on the corps members to be a role model to Nigerian youths.
The officer of EFCC while speaking with the 2021 Batch 'B 'stream 2 corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Iseyin, encouraged them to use their energy to fight and shun all acts of financial and cyber crimes.
Mrs Odogwu listed the core mandate of EFCC which are to prevent, investigate and prosecute financial crimes.
She advised the corps members that as the future hope of our dear country they should be Vanguard in fighting crime.She equally charged them to report any criminal acts that can thwart the efforts of the Federal Government "when you see something say something" she said.
She however warned the corps members to be mindful of the type of friends they move with.
Mrs Odogwu appreciated the NYSC Scheme for the cooperation the Commission has enjoyed over the years in ensuring that our youths keep away from crime. She implored the corps members to join the EFCC NYSC CDS group to fight and ward off corruption.
She also urged them to work hard to earn their unquestionable wealth instead of settling for cyber crimes that only bring short term wealth with mystery.
