The sports finals were held at Iseyin camp with a lot of demonstrations and fanfare.The football match was a battle between two Titans,platoon five and nine.
It was a tough football game encounter, full of intrigues with series of penalty kicks between the two platoons.
The match which ended in 1- 1 draw at full time was decided by penalty shootouts which saw number Five platoon lifting the trophy as the champion of the finals of the 2021 Batch C stream 1 Inter-platoon Sports competition.
Earlier before the final match,the State Coordinator,Mrs.Grace Ogbuogebe at the event, encouraged the corps members to continually adopt the attributes of teamwork and resilience. Stating that Sport is a platform to promote unity and integration.
The football finals also had number 9 platoon clinching the 2nd position and number 10 platoon taking the 3rd position.
In Volleyball, number 6 platoon lifted the trophy while number 10 and 4 platoons took the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Finalists in the male and female athletics were also presented with cash prizes at the end of the event.
