Ajipe congratulates Amotekun Boss on his appointment as SA on security matters.






The Convener of Ibi Giga Ambassadors Chief Dr Alex Ajipe has congratulated the Commander of the Ondo State Security Network (Amotekun Corps) Chief Adetunji Adeleye on his appointment as the special adviser on security matters to Ondo state governor.

Ajipe’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued by his media Aide, Solomon Adewoye in Akure the state capital on Tuesday.

According to the statement,  Ajipe said the appointment of Chief Adetunji was in recognition of his leadership qualities as a security experts as well as his resounding success as the commander of Amotekun in Ondo state.

Ajipe said since creation of Amotekun in Ondo state, insecurity has reduced drastically because of the collaboration of Amotekun and other security agencies in the state and this can’t be achieved without the good leadership of chief Adetunji.

“The decision by his Excellency Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,  the Executive Governor of Ondo  State who has always ensured equity, fairness and justice, to appoint Chief Adetunji Adeleye as the Special Adviser on Security Matters is well placed and he has been delivering diligently the assignment given to him since the creation of Amotekun”.

“It is no longer news that Robbery,  Kidnapping,  Banditry, Herdsmen attack and communal crisis has reduced drastically in Ondo state since creation of Amotekun headed by chief Adetunji”

” His appointment is well deserved and he has been putting in all his possible best. He is a man that has zero tolerance for insecurity, he has been up and doing as the commandant of Amotekun which has reduced criminal activities in the state to  lower level”

“Therefore, i am bold to say that the appointment of chief Adetunji  is a round peg in a round hole. it was gratifying to note that currently, Ondo state is the safest in Nigeria of today”. He said

Ajipe however urged the new Security Adviser to consolidate on the successes  recorded by Amotekun and other security agencies in tackling all security threats in the state.
