Rugipo: Mr Solomon Okioya becomes Head of Department

A lecturer from Mass Communication department, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Mr Solomon Okioya has been announced as the Head of department, Mass Communication, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Ondo State. 

This was coming after his Predecessor, Mrs Florence Iyadunni Adedowole bows out as the Head of department Mass Communication on Monday. 

Speaking with Newsline NG Mr Sunday Afolayan, a lecturer from the Department admonished the new Head of Department to build on his predecessor success

"There is a fertile ground to record more successes. He should explore this opportunity and learn from her strength and weakness.

"Bringing all together, seeking counsel where necessary, and be bold to take good decisions on issues, without trying to please people against the collective good of the department should be your focus

He however prayed that God will journey with him as he recieve the mantle to lead the Department to greater height
