It was a joyous moment as the members of the NYSC Christian chapel in collaboration with the SAED facilitators celebrated two of their members who bowed out of service.
The former Assistant Director SAED Mrs Atinuke Ojo and Mrs Abigael Gbolasire of the Press and Public Relations unit having meritoriously attained the thirty five years of service were celebrated in grand style.
At the Thanksgiving service organized in their honour at the Chapel where they worshipped during their active years of service,they were eulogized and their diligence/ commitment they exhibited while service were commended.
Giving the word of exhortation, Mr. Oyeyiola Rufus charged every member of staff present at the Thanksgiving service to always remember to discharge their duty as unto God and service to humanity.
"They will always be remembered by their deeds.
He said that the impacts of the retirees who were epitome of humility while in service will highly be missed, charging other staff to emulate such sterling attribute.
Prayers were rendered for the retirees to continue to be of sound mind as they assume another phase of life.
Highlight of the event were the cutting of cake by the celebrants and presentation of gift items by well wishers.
