Nigeria@62 : Odigbo Constituency I MHA Candidate, Ifabiyi Congratulates Nigerians

Former Special Adviser to governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Commerce and Industry, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel,has said the unique legacy of nationalists before the event of October 1st,1960 Independence came to limelight and its objectives, Nigerians should not renege in paying allegiance to their nation if truly the country is ripe to be free from colonialism by the then British Government.

The Ondo State House of Assembly Candidate under the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, for Odigbo Constituency I in the forthcoming general elections made this known in Ore,the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of the State during the weekend (yesterday) 

 Ifabiyi while congratulating his Constituents and other fellow Nigerians on this year's Independence celebration emphasised the activities of Nigeria's heroes in the course of fighting for freedom of the country, saying that many paid the prize by laying their lives.

The immediate past Adviser noted that the annual event is primarily meant to remind Nigerians the need to be loyal, be patriots and subjective to the country, adding that the current predicaments facing the nation can be overcome if join hands to fight the menace in order to have a more saver nation.

He further pointed out that through collective efforts, together,we can fight the the problem of insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and terrorism, assuring citizens that the country would soon rest from its common degradation, just as he saluted the Nigeria military and other sister security agencies for wagging war against all social unrests in Nigeria.

The statement quotes: "The annual Independence day celebration is meant for us to remember the past struggles of our fore actors who fought for freedom from our Colonial Masters."

"Our heroes had really fought the battle to free us from being serf and we must reciprocate by keeping their work done alive. Some down their souls died in the course.". I salute Nigeria Amy and other security agencies for their relentless activities to see the nation regaining its strength. Let's fight for the common goal."

Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel in his remarks, appreciated the chairman, Southwest Governors'Forum and the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, for the establishment of Southwest Security Network codenamed Corps to fight insecurity at the local level, 

The outstanding State House of Assembly Candidate of APC in Odigbo Constituency I, therefore, urged the Federal Government to urgently expedite action by granting the Amotekun Corps to bear arms as requested by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu aimed at protecting residents of the State and the entire Southwest region against external aggressions by terrorists and other hoodlum groups.

"I,personally commend our Arakunrin for for establishing Amotekun Corps to fight insecurity at the local level in the fight against terrorists and other outlaw  It's a good development."

It's better we urge our Central Government to consider Amotekun Corps to be equiped with modern day equipments to fight insecurity as required with urgency". He stated.

It would be recalled that Governor Akeredolu few weeks ago called on Federal Government to allow the Southwest Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corps to bear arms after a video making round depicting where members of a local security outfit in the country home of President Muhammadu Buhari, Katsina State, carried AK47.

Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji, however, used the medium to charge Nigerians to get their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) and ensure they participate creditably in the forthcoming 2023 polls.
