A-list gospel singer and music producer, Yinka Joel Ayefele (MON) on Tuesday visited the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Iseyin, in Oyo State
Addressing the 2022 Batch’C’ Stream II Corps members, the gospel artiste urged the Corps members to be diligent wherever they are posted to for their Primary Assignments, he urged them to leave an indelible mark in their place of work, which he believes will open doors of Greatness for them.
The CEO Fresh FM and Blast FM Radio Stations said his visit to Oyo Camp is to spend the evening with Corps members deployed and dislodged from Lagos State , and he said he is willing to assist Corps members in whatever area they are passionate about in the Media industry.
He mentioned that many Corps members posted to serve in various capacities in his Radio Station in Ibadan, Akure, Ekiti and Lagos have been retained by him and some are now Heads of News, broadcasting and Marketing at his radio stations.
" I am delighted at investing in the Nigerian youths because they are the future leaders and corps members are always welcome in his establishments.
The gospel artist thrilled the Corps members with some of his songs and immediately the corps members vibe with songs with cheers and excitements .
In her remarks, the State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps Oyo State, Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe applauded the gospel singer, Dr. Yinka Ayefele (MON) for his kind gesture and for creating time to celebrate and encouraged the corps members on diligence and commitment during their service year, despite his tight schedule, she noted that his humility is admired.
She assured him that the corps members will put into use all what he has said.
Highlight of the event is the donation of cash gifts to corps members who mime his songs ranging from 100,000 (Hundred thousand Naira) to 200,000 naira
He also donated 5 bags of rice to the State Coordinator.
