It was an atmosphere filled with pomp and pageantry in Ibadan as corps members (Charity group) gifted writing materials, noddles, toiletries to children of an orphanage home as part of thier project
This was done in accordance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme to give back to the society
Newsline NG learnt that the project was the first of its kind this year.
The charity group under Lagelu local government area of Oyo State on Thursday (Today) paid a visit to Joyous Heart orphanage Home and gifted writing materials to children of the aforementioned.
The President of the group (Charity), Adekanye Ayomide while speaking with Newsline NG said the long awaited project has finally come to reality
Speaking with the children, Ayomide admonished them to aspire to be great in the nearest future
"Don't think of your present situation, but the future, be determined that greatness is assured, nobody is limited for greatness
Also, Corper Abdulmuiz, Abdulrasaq Sherifat unanimously admonished the children to be Patient, Prayerful, studious, and be determined
"No matter the challenges you are all passing through, with prayer to God, greatness is sure, and also embrace education, because Education is the key to success. They said
Ayomide however thanked the goup members for making the project a successful one, saying "it is actually very beautiful and innovative
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with Newsline NG, thanked the group (Charity group), for thier kind gesture.
Items donated to the children, included,
Stationery, Toiletries, Noodles, Junks among others
The Management of the orphanage home however appreciated the corps members for their kind gesture in providing some writing materials for the children.
