The Ondo State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps Scheme, Mrs. Victoria Nnenna Ani has made a special appeal to graduate youths mobilised for national service to aggressively protect the various cultures in the country from going into extinct. The State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps Oyo State, Mr Odoba Abel Oche has admonished 2023 Batch B stream one Corps members to take advantage of SAED to bridge the gap of unemployment .  He charged them not to allow the opportunity offered by the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme of NYSC slips off their hands. An Ondo State corps member, Gbakara Victory Gavin with code number OD/22C/1492 serving with Arise and Shine Model School, Akure, the Ondo state capital has won the season eight edition of the Nigeria Idol. Chief executive officer of Tubaba Football Scouting Academy Network Nigeria (TFSANN), Comrade Ayokunle Oluwatope has disclosed that his organisation has lined up about 30 friendly matches for Sunshine Stars Football Club ahead of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier League season .  He added that the Akure based side will play another four matches before the end of this week against some teams from outside the state, tagging the pre- season games as grade B and C. After they have earlier played against Victory Lions and Waxing FC, which will make it six friendlies for the first week. EFCC, Police launch manhunt for Paul Demudia Eigbefoh over N67.5m fraud

A suspected fraudster trading under the business name “Capital Plus Investment Services Ltd”, owned by Paul Demudia Eigbefoh is on the run after allegedly defrauding a leading oil and gas company in the country to the tune of N67.5million last week. The affected firm has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for recovery of N67.5 million alleged to have been fraudulently obtained by the fleeing Paul Demudia Eigbefoh, also known as Paul Smith. The firm in a petition dated July 24 2023 by its counsel, Bala Omar Yakubu and Co, and addressed to the EFCC Lagos Command, alleged that Paul Demudia Eigbefoh and Capital Plus Investment Services Limited, obtained the sum of N67.5 million, under false pretence. It disclosed that Paul Demudia Eigbefoh who held himself out as the alter-ego of Capital Plus approached the conglomerate to offer it financial services to augment its working capital. The actions and inactions of man, particularly political leaders, put God at risk of sharing in the blames when they exempted their failures and lack of responsibility and accountability as acts of God.
