Construction on FUOYE Alumni Center nears completion --- President, Arogundade assures

The Alumni Centre project of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti is now largely completed and construction on this expanded home for alumni and friends is drawing to a close.


This assertion was made by the Alumni President of the institution, Comrade Temitope Arogundade in Chat with Our Correspondent on the latest development about the Alumni Center. 

He said, the building for the alumni which the proactive and hard-working Vice Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina laid the foundation is almost at the completion stage.



According to him, "The center will also feature an Alumni Office Suite for Alumni staff, the Vice President of University Advancement’s office, the Development Executive Director’s office, and office space for the Advancement Services team and mini market malls which would serve as a source of IGR to the great association of the university

"The Alumni Association is considering other ways to celebrate the opening of the house and possible future dates for the dedication so as many alumni and friends as possible can take part in the epoch event after completion 

"As part of the giant stride of the President of the Association to enable students of the ivory tower to have access to their academic records,  the alumni has body donated laptops and printers to the exams and records office to ease the wait for a transcript for students who may wish to use it for further education or employment opportunities. He said.
