Oluwadamilola Koku, the best replacement for Oparanozie - Ologbese



Super Falcons of Nigeria handlers need no sleepless nights over the retirement of Desire Oparanozie, rather they should swiftly call up the red hot BNOT NETANYA FC striker, Oluwadamilola Koku as a perfect replacement for the now Imo state FA board member

This was the disclosure of pioneer Secretary of Ondo State Football Agency ODSFA, Otunba Dele Ologbese, while chatting with newsmen. 

According to him, Oluwadamilola Koku is an experienced footballer who hailed from  Epinmi -Akoko in Akoko South East Local Government of Ondo State.

Koku also known as Crespo joined FK Gintra Lithuania club in February 2022 and scored six goals in four matches for FC Gintra in the 2022/23 Baltic League, as well as ten goals in Lyga league. 

Otunba Dele Ologbese averred that the red hot Koku will be perfectly fit in to the Super Falcons

He said with koku's precision and clinical in the final third, Falcons inability to score goals will become things of the past.

The former Vice Chairman of Ondo State Football Association (FA), urged  Nigeria Football Federation NFF to extend invitation to the former Sunshine Queens and Rivers Angels players to fill the vacuum left by the senior players in the team.

"Damilola Koku's  10 goals for Lithuanian Side, FC Gintra, earned her former team their 14th Lyga league tittle in 2022/23 and another six goals to lift Baltic League tittle.

"She rounded up the football season with 16 goals. 

He further revealed, that Koku won Nigeria Women Football League with NWFL with Rivers Angels in 2021, she scored one goal in three appearances at the 2021 CAF African Champions League finals, having helped Rivers Angels to win the 2021 WAFU-B Champions League qualifiers. 

The former FK Gintra, Lithuania player is currently plying her trade with BNOT NETANYA . 

"The 21 years old police officer, was the top scorer of the 13th Biennial Police Games held in Uyo, the capital of Akwa-Ibom State with seven goals.

Koku had a little stint with Sunshine Queens,  before joining Pelican Stars.

She also played in other Nigerians top teams like: Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, Confluence Queens, Osun Babes and Ibom Angels FC .
