ODSG promises to make agriculture more attractive for youths, stakeholders







The Ondo State Government has reiterated its commitment  to create an enabling environment to make agriculture and it values chains more attractive to the youths and stakeholders in the sector.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture and Agribusiness, Mr Wemimo Akinsola stated this during an official visit to Adewole family farm, Ikota in ifedore Local Government Area of the state.

Akinsola while noting the present administration under the leadership of Hon. Lucky  Orimisan Aiyedatiwa  will continue to provide the necessary assistance to farmers, noting that the government has assisted many  livestock rearing farmers in their business across the state.



He therefore solicited for more cooperation for the government to continue to provide more dividends of democracy to the people.

In his address, Mr Mayowa Adewole who is the owner of the  farm, explained that finance and insecurity are two major challenges facing them.



He also noted that the farm needed  more land from the government to enable  them plant more maize, soya beans, cassava for milling of feeds.
