The young boy identified as Emmanuel, who allegedly cut off the head of his brother, Daniel, has reportedly died.
According to a source, the suspect died in the hospital as a result of serious injuries sustained from a mob lynching when he was caught.
Confirming the incident with our correspondent, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olayinka Alayande said, “Yes, the suspect died in the hospital.”
The incident, which has sparked widespread shock and outrage, occurred around in Origbara river in Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State on Monday.
