In a heartwarming display of community support, Crest FM's popular program "Orin Iyin" with Dayo Afolabi has raised N400,000 for Baba Alarinka, who is in dire need of N1.8 million to cover his medical expenses.
This generous donation is part of the program's 5th-year anniversary celebrations.
The funds were gathered through the program, which has been a platform for fans to show their love and kindness.
Dayo Afolabi expressed his gratitude to the fans who contributed to the fundraising effort, saying, "I'm grateful to our fans who have shown love and kindness to Baba Alarinka through our program.
This is a testament to the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together to support one another."
As part of the anniversary celebrations, the program also announced plans to distribute free school bags to students across Ondo State ahead of the September resumption. Dayo Afolabi added,
