APC Chieftain Apalowo Thalis Hosts Party Leaders, Members in Akoko

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Thalis Olonite Apalowo, on Tuesday hosted party leaders and members at his country home in Ogbagi Akoko, Ondo State, in a gathering described as a show of unity and renewed commitment to the party’s progress.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of APC in Ogbagi Akoko Ward 6, Comrade Musa Jimoh commended Apalowo for his consistent support to party faithful, noting that he had always been a dependable pillar who gives back to the party and its members.

In his address, Hon. Apalowo Thalis said the meeting was held in honour of the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, whom he described as a compassionate leader deeply committed to the welfare of his people.

“I am hosting our party today in the name of my leader, Hon. (Dr) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who loves his people so much. To appreciate him, we have to support the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 because the reward of a good work is more work,” Apalowo said.

A former Chief Judge of Ondo State, Hon. Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi (rtd.), lauded Tunji-Ojo and Apalowo for continually including Ogbagi Akoko in their developmental agenda, stressing that their efforts were already yielding visible benefits for the community.

Also speaking, a former Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oluwasegunota Bolarinwa, praised Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for the reforms he has championed in the Ministry of Interior. He described the minister as the “star boy of the Renewed Hope Government,” noting that his performance has continued to bring pride to Ondo State and the APC family.

An elder of the party, Alhaji Oloruntoba urged party members to remain steadfast and stand by the party as the 2027 elections draw close.

The event attracted party stalwarts, community leaders, and enthusiastic members who pledged continued loyalty to the party and support for its leaders.
