Adeboye who delivered a powerful sermon to the congregation emphasized the importance of embracing the new year with faith and stepping into the new things God has in store.
He urged the congregation to move forward and forget their past, focusing on the abundance and blessings that God has prepared for them.
"As we enter a new year, we must trust God alone and live a purpose-driven life, We are not defined by our past mistakes or failures, but by the love and grace of God."
The pastor encouraged the congregation to celebrate the good times and be grateful for the blessings they have received.
He reminded them that God's plans are always for their good and that they should trust in His sovereignty.
Pastor Johnson also emphasized the importance of living in abundance, stating that God wants His children to prosper and be blessed in every area of their lives.
"We are not just meant to survive, but to thrive in God's presence, God is always in control and that He has a plan to prosper them, not to harm them.
"I encouraged you all to trust God alone, even in the midst of challenges and uncertainties.
"As you are prepared to step into the new year, live a purpose-driven life, seek God's will and follow His path, God has a plan for each of you, and it's a plan to prosper, not to harm," he said.
The Cross Over Service ended with a call to action, urging the congregation to step into the new year with faith, trusting God to lead them into a brighter future.
