Ondo Lawmaker Ogunwumiju Appointed as South West DG of Tinubu/ Datiwa Half a Million Walk

A member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ondo West Constituency I, Hon. Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju, has been appointed as the South West Director General of the Tinubu-Datiwa Half a Million Walk.



The Founder and Ondo State Coordinator of the Tinubu-Datiwa Half a Million Walk, Hon. Kehinde Akinrotoye Bonsue, disclosed that members of the group unanimously agreed on Ogunwumiju’s appointment following a diligent background check.


Akinrotoye described Ogunwumiju as a vibrant youth who strongly believes in the philosophy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the transformation agenda of President Bola Tinubu.



He added that Ogunwumiju is a loyal party member whose contributions to the administration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa cannot be overemphasized.



“We must appreciate and thank him for accepting to serve as the Director General of the Tinubu-Datiwa Half a Million Walk. More appointments of eminent South West leaders will be announced in due course.


“Our target is to take this Tinubu-Datiwa support group beyond Ondo State. President Bola Tinubu has done well, and we must support him to continue the good work he has started,” Akinrotoye said.


He further disclosed that coordinators at the senatorial, federal constituency, ward, and the 3,933 polling units levels would soon be inaugurated.


Akinrotoye also expressed appreciation to Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who serves as the Grand Patron of the group, for his support.


In his acceptance speech, Hon. Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju pledged to collaborate with other South West leaders to deliver massive votes for President Bola Tinubu in the region.
