The Mega Regional Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Akure, Pastor Adeniyi Ademola, has described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the greatest victory ever recorded in human history, emphasizing that its power remains active in the lives of believers today.
Delivering his Easter message, the cleric noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ stands as undeniable proof that death could not hold Him, the grave could not contain Him, and darkness could not overcome Him. According to him, this triumph forms the bedrock of the Christian faith and continues to inspire hope across generations.
Pastor Ademola stressed that Easter is far beyond a mere annual celebration, describing it as a profound reminder of the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, events he said brought about a complete transformation for humanity.
He explained that the sacrifices made by Christ were purposeful, aimed at granting mankind grace, healing, and redemption.
Reflecting on biblical references, he cited Philippians 3:10, which speaks on knowing Christ and the power of His resurrection, as well as John 11:25 where Jesus declared Himself as the resurrection and the life.
He said these scriptures affirm that the resurrection is not just a historical occurrence but a present-day reality for believers.
The cleric further highlighted that the power of the resurrection has the capacity to bring life to dead situations, break limitations, and dismantle stagnation.
He added that it carries the authority to open doors that no man can shut and grants victory over shame and adversity.
Speaking on its practical impact, Pastor Ademola assured Christians that no situation is beyond redemption, noting that just as Jesus rose from the dead, every seemingly buried blessing in the lives of believers can rise again.
He described the rolling away of the stone from the tomb as symbolic of obstacles being removed from the paths of the faithful.
He encouraged Christians to remain steadfast in faith, urging them to embrace the transformative power of the resurrection in their daily lives.
According to him, the message of Easter should strengthen believers’ confidence in God’s ability to turn around impossible situations.
Pastor Ademola concluded his message with prayers, asking that the resurrection power of Jesus Christ would manifest in the lives of believers, bringing about breakthroughs and divine intervention. He declared that they would not be put to shame.
He also extended warm Easter greetings to Christians, wishing them a joyful and spiritually fulfilling celebration.
