The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Southwest Region 190, on Sunday, April 5, 2026, organised a befitting sent-forth ceremony in honour of its outgoing Regional Overseer, Pastor Adesina Akadiri, marking the end of his impactful eight-year tenure in the church.

The colourful event, attended by church leaders, members, and well-wishers, served as both a symbolic conclusion of Pastor Akadiri’s pastoral assignment in the region and an expression of gratitude to God for the achievements recorded during his stewardship.

Speakers at the ceremony took turns to commend his dedication, leadership, and spiritual guidance, which they said contributed significantly to the growth of the church and the transformation of lives.

In his remarks, Pastor Akadiri expressed deep appreciation to God and the church for the opportunity to serve, noting that his years in the ministry were marked by divine grace and fulfillment.

He described the ceremony as a moment of reflection and thanksgiving for the numerous testimonies and milestones recorded during his leadership.

Reflecting on his time in office, the cleric highlighted the collective efforts of church members and leaders in achieving success, emphasizing that the progress recorded was a result of unity, faith, and unwavering commitment to God’s work.

Delivering his farewell message to members, Pastor Akadiri urged them to remain steadfast in their faith, encouraging them to continually look unto Jesus Christ, whom he described as the author and finisher of faith.

He admonished the congregation never to relent in their service and worship of God, stressing the importance of consistency in Christian living.

He further charged the church to remain focused on its spiritual mandate, calling on members of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries worldwide to sustain their commitment to spiritual warfare and holiness.

“To the church as a whole, we must not disappoint God. We must continue in the waging of spiritual warfare until Jesus Christ returns,” he said.

The event concluded with prayers, goodwill messages, and presentations in honour of the outgoing overseer, as members celebrated his legacy and wished him success in his future ministerial assignments.

Newsline NG gathered that Pastor Akadiri began his journey in the region after being posted from MFM Southwest Region 4 Youth Church, where he served as a Youth Pastor. In 2018, he was deployed to MFM Ijare as Regional Overseer, a position in which he demonstrated resilience, commitment, and a passion for spiritual development.
