NOTE OF APPRECIATION
The unanimous adoption of my humble self, Hon. Ismail WASIU Alade (IWA), as the Consensus Candidate of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the Ede South State Constituency ahead of the 2027 Osun State House of Assembly election remains one of the most emotional, memorable, and humbling moments of my political journey.
I sincerely appreciate our revered Apex Leaders led by Hon. Johnson Ojo, respected Elders, Stakeholders, Party Executives, Youths, Women, and the entire faithful members of APC in Ede South Local Government for the confidence, trust, and overwhelming support reposed in me. Your unity, sacrifice, and commitment to the progress of our party and constituency will forever remain appreciated and cherished.
I also specially appreciate my dear brother, Hon. Sijuade Taoheed (ZOBO), for his exemplary maturity, sportsmanship, and large-heartedness throughout the consultation and consensus process despite his aspiration. His sincerity, support, and brotherly disposition after the decision further reaffirm that our relationship transcends politics. Indeed, in this journey, there is no victor and no vanquished; we are one united family working for the collective growth and victory of APC and the development of Ede South.
I wish to assure our respected leaders, party faithful, and the good people of Ẹdẹ South State Constituency that, by the grace of Almighty Allah, I shall remain a listening, accessible, responsive, and people-oriented representative dedicated to effective legislation, quality representation, and the overall welfare of our people.
I am fully committed to justifying this confidence with humility, loyalty, competence, and purposeful service.
May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen and reward all our leaders, preserve the unity of our party, and grant us greater victories ahead. Amin.
