She described IVF as the manipulation and processing of the female egg and male sperm outside of the human body. According to her, the egg and sperm will form an embryo that will be transplanted or inserted into the woman that will carry the pregnancy. Nigerians have been urged to eradicate malaria as the deadly and dangerous disease has claimed more than 627 thousand lives from the 241 million people affected in 2020 Speaking at a sensitization programme held in Akure to mark the World Malaria Day, the Chief Executive Officer of Restoration of Dignity of Womanhood ROTDOW, Mrs Olabisi Omolona tasked residents to always keep their environment clean to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes which causes malaria. The Ondo state government has received doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines from the Federal Government. It was gathered that the vaccine was delivered this evening through Akure Airport and received by officials of the Ondo state Primary Health Care Development Agency on behalf of the state government. It was further learnt that Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is expected to flag-off the vaccination tomorrow in Akure and  will soon commence the vaccinations in line with the scheduled guidelines laid down by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA). The Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) Federal Medical Centre, Owo chapter has called on Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to reopen the hospitals across the state currently under lock and key. Ondo State Government has approved full payment of deductions for the state from February to June 2020. It has also approved payment of 68% June salary and pension of the local government service and 2018 leave bonus for workers for grade seven to 17 in all services.
