Nysc: Ondo gets New Coordinator

The new NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Alhaja Kuburat Bakare has disclosed that her mission in Ondo State is to build on the successes of her predecessors and operate all-inclusive administration. The State Coordinator, who is taking up the mantle of leadership in the Sunshine State as the 22nd Chief Executive Officer declared that all should do away with divisible tendencies but rather work assiduously to promote unity and healthy working relationships. Nysc Ondo celebrates Cultural Carnival in grandstyle

In bid to further project the richness of Nigeria cultural heritage, the National Youth Service Corps, Ondo State, on Saturday celebrated its Cultural Carrnival at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ikare-Akoko.  Nigeria, according to the State Coordinator of the Scheme in the State, Mr. Sam Amaramiro Pepple is abundantly endowed and blessed with diverse culture and heritage.  He said that NYSC is the unifying national factor that has been harnessing the richness to build national cultural edifice.  Pepple highlighted the importance of cultural inclusiveness, pressing on the need to take advantage of the country multi-cultural diversity, saying that the carnival depicted the core objective of the NYSC scheme, which is to foster national unity.  The Coordinator called on the Nigerian youths to place premium on the values that project the pride of the motherland, encouraging them to co-habit by promoting their traditional values with pride and candour.  He also ...

Ondo coord to corps members: Be up to speed as Regards Nysc operations

The State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ondo State, Mrs. Victoria Nnenna Ani has asserted that it is imperative for members of the service corps to be up to speed as regards the operations of the Scheme. The State Coordinator made the assertion in her opening remarks at the maiden Inter-Platoon Quiz Competition put in place to gauge the comprehension and understanding of the corps members during the orientation course and by extension, the scheme. Ani said that management came up with the novel idea to reduce apprehension and unco-ordinated attitude of corps members when they report at their various places of primary assignments after the orientation course. Nysc inducts New staff in Ekiti

The NYSC  Ekiti State Coordinator, Mrs Chikezie Mary Nenna, has charged the newly employed NYSC Staff posted to Ekiti to ensure that discipline takes precedence at all times in the course of discharging their duties. Mrs. Chikezie while addressing the newly employed Staff during the induction workshop organized for them at the NYSC Secretariat Iyin Road Ado-Ekiti enlightened them on the peculiarities and rules of engagement of the NYSC. The NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Mrs, Victoria Nnenna Ani has appealed to headship of Customs Area Office and the Nigeria Immigration Service in the Sunshine State to support tangible projects of corps members. Speaking during her courtesy call on the two offices, Mrs. Ani said NYSC remains the platform that is uniting every ethnic and tribe of this country. The State Coordinator said her visit is to familiarise herself with the Commands and to seek improved relationships between the NYSC and the two organisations.
