INEC postpones Governorship, Assembly elections

Though, there are no official statement as at the time of filing this report, but the reason for the postponement is to enable INEC to reconfigure the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines used during the February 25 presidential election. It will be recalled that the Supreme Court of Nigeria had earlier today given directives to the Commission to reconfigure the BVAS, in preparation for the governorship and house of Assembly elections.
