The 15 -year old Community Grammar School Zion Pepe student was discovered during a Testimonial Match between Sunshine Queens FC and BeMore  girls played at the Mabest Academy pitch, in Akure, venue of the 2023 Summer bootcamp 4girlsnaija.   The Team Manager of Sunshine Queens, Kehinde Odogun in a chat with newsmen, said Agbeni is a potential star that will make the state and the country proud in future if well nurtured. Ondo State Football Stakeholders Forum (OSFSF) has commended the State Government's decision to host and celebrate Ilaje born Super Falcons player Oluwatosin Demehin over her superlative performance at the ongoing Women's World Cup in Australia/New Zealand.  The Convener of the Stakeholders Forum , Otunba Dele Ologbese, had earlier issued a statement over the Ondo State government's failure to celebrate the former Sunshine Queens and Rivers Angels players. Popular veteran Broadcaster in Ondo State, Deacon Olalekan Olanrewaju is dead. Deacon Olanrewaju reportedly passed on Saturday evening during a church programme in Akure. A member of the church who preferred anonymity confirmed the death of the popular broadcaster to Positive FM. Deacon Olanrewaju was the pioneer anchor of the famous alternative dispute resolution programme “ IJOKO OJOGBON ” on Ondo State Owned television station, OSRC from where he got his appellation, “ OLORI EBI ”

No fewer than 2,000 corps members posted to Oyo state have been sworn-in at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Iseyin, Oyo State on Friday.  The Chief Judge of Oyo State, Honourable Justice Iyabo Yerima administered oath of allegiance to over 2,000 corps members deployed to Oyo and those dislodged from Lagos State. Addressing the Corps members,  at the swearing-in ceremony for the 2023 Batch ‘B’ stream 2, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Execellency Engr. Seyi Makinde charged corps members to exhibit the spirit of dedication and hardwork having responded to the clarion call. Governor Makinde who was represented by the Hon.
