Mr Wemimo Akinsola commends Aiyedatiwa for signing four Executive Orders

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State on Agriculture and Agricbusiness, Mr Wemimo Akinsola has commended the Governor of  State Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa for signing four Executive Orders. Mr Akinsola gave the commendation while briefing Press Men in his Office, Alagbaka Akure on the importance of the Executive Order to agriculture activities in the State. According to the Senior Special Assistance to Mr Governor on Agribusiness, the Executive Orders are aimed at benefiting the State through the creation of more jobs to the youths, land accessible for farmers. AI not ultimately perfect, human intelligence is still critical – expert

Ayoola said this on Tuesday at the ongoing Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ibadan branch 2024 Law Week and 70th anniversary celebration. Ayoola, who was the lead Speaker on the topic, “The Lawful Use of Robotics And Artificial Intelligence in Legal Practice In Nigeria”, said human intelligence remained critical to justice dispensation in Nigeria. Ayoola emphasised that human intelligence was still needed in the Legal system in spite of the use of AI. He called on policymakers to promote open source platforms for accessing, referencing and validating court judgments. The State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps in Ondo State, Mrs. Kuburat Omowumi Bakare has told corps members to see their posting to places of primary assignment as a divine call to impact positively on their host communities.  The State Coordinator made the statement at the Multipurpose Hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ikare-Akoko, while debriefing the 2024 Batch 'C' (Stream ) corps members.  Bakare, who praised the members of the service corps for their disciplined disposition during the period of the orientation course, urged them to maintain the tempo throughout the service year. The National Youth Service Corps has assured corps members deployed to Ondo State and others that would be coming on relocation that the Scheme will continue to cater for their wellbeing and safety. Speaking at the 13th Convocation Ceremony held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated the University on its continued academic excellence. A total of 6,837 students graduated from the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic sessions, with 62 earning First-Class Honours.
