The Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the sum of Six Hundred and Thirty-three Million, Nine Hundred and Eighteen Thousand Naira (N633, 918, 000.00) for the payment of registration fees for public secondary school students in the State for the 2025 West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) Secondary School Certificate Examination to alleviate the financial burden of parents and guardians. Governor Aiyedatiwa gave the approval on Friday and the payment will cover a total of 23, 048 secondary school students who passed the Joint Senior Secondary School II Promotion Examination in the State conducted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The management of Sunshine Stars has handed a three-match ultimatum to the club’s coaching crew following a poor run of form. The ultimatum also extends to the Team Manager, Welfare Officer and other backroom staff. This decision was reached after an extensive assessment of the team’s performance since the beginning of the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
