Akeredolu Rejuvenate Ondo Radio 96.5 FM

The Executive and entire members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ), Ondo State Council have joined well-meaning Nigerians to celebrate this year’s Eld-el-Kabir with Muslim faithful across the state and beyond.

Ondo NUJ therefore urges every Nigerian to use this festive period to reflect on serious security challenges facing the nation and the need for Muslims to ceaselessly pray for a peaceful coexistence in the country.

A Sallah Message issued in Akure by the State Chairman of the Union, Comrade Adetona Aderoboye, indicates that while celebrating, political leaders should not forget various economic hardship and insecurity confronting the citizenry which have been aiding criminal activities.

The NUJ Chairman who commends journalists and media organizations in Ondo State for their steadfastness and professionalism in reporting happenings in the state, urges them to sustain such for overall growth of the state.

The Pen Professional Body also appreciates Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the Management of OSRC for reviving the State’s hitherto moribund Radio Station (96.5 FM, Akure) to serve the public alongside other Radio and TV stations in the State.

Comrade Aderoboye advises Nigerians both leaders and followers to imbibe the virtues of Obedience, endurance, Patience, faithfulness and fear of God epitomized by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his Son, Ismael.

The NUJ Chairman rejoices with Muslim journalists and wishes other Nigerian muslims a Happy and Rewarding Eid-el-Kabir Celebrations
