Luke 14:11, the Bible says, For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
For the period of my work and walk in the Ministry and in the race of life, I have discovered that one of the dangerous weapons that bring down a mighty man is Pride
So many Gifted, Talented and Anointed Men and Women have been brought down to low because of the spirit of Pride
I don't claim to have gone very far and risen so high in ministry but i can tell you, you need the grace for humility to survive what men can do to you when you are truly anointed.
There are divers of ways God brings man to humility if Men are proving to be something when they are nothing, Nebuchadnezzar was brought low like an animal for seven years, it was maggots that ate Herod because of His Pride spirit
Whatever you acquire by Grace is not meant to disgrace people, Sometimes, the joy of looking like a celebrity, your Ministry flourishing and even your life with Grace in abundance should not be the reason while you should think of yourself highly more what you are
Let it not be when you built houses, and your barns with plenty and you will say my strength hath gathered these but rather say it is by the Grace of God
Remember, that the Lord gave that ability.. Your ability to remember the Lord is humility..
Proverbs 29:23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
Some many people who might have been helped by those who God sent to them have missed them by high look, lying tongue, fake life and flattering lips
Your title, position, certificate, achievement will only last when you humble yourself and will be jeopardize when pride sets in
I have prayed to God and I will continue to Pray till the rest of my life that whatever God will give to me that will make me forget He gave it to me, May I never have it.... It's a prayer so many of us needs to pray
The Anointing and Revelation is not the only thing that keeps you in ministry, some people exhuast their revelations and don't know what else to preach in a year😭😭😭
The way many young ministers are so carried away by pulpit is too alarming, they don't want to stay, learn, unlearn and relearn, they quickly exhaust the words and Revelation acquired in the secret place and training field until they are expired
No wonder many ministers become astonished and wondered at the level of the Grace upon the great men of God with Humility Howbeit they have spent 50years in the ministry and yet still on fire for God because they have exhausted theirs within a year...
Humility is the sustainable Power to be Relevance in the Ministry, until you are humble, you will always fumble until you crumble and finish yourself.
Pray and say father Purge me
Give me the Grace for Humility...
