Pastor Stephen Ibitayo Jaiyeoba has been inducted as the Pioneer Regional Superintendent of Sophia Ajayi Region by the Christ Apostolic Church Authority
The inauguration ceremony which was filled with pomp and pageantry was held yesterday (Sunday) at Christ Apostolic Church Ogba Alafia, Ado Ekiti.
A press release signed by the Church's Director of Publicity, Pastor Ademisoye Alawode said the induction became imperative after the General Executive Council of the Christ Apostolic Church created 6 region for ease administration of the church in December2021
He said two regions that were named after great women of faith in the church were carved out of the present Odubanjo Region with the headquarters at Ado Ekiti
"Orekoya Region, Essien Region, Orogun Region, Akilin Region, Sophia Ajayi Region, and Pearce Region were part of Odubanjo Region that was carved out
The New superintendent of Sophia Ajayi Region, Ekiti State Pastor Stephen Ibitayo Jaiyeoba was born in 1952 at Egbe, Kogi State.
He attended ECWA Primary School, Egbe, Amuro Community Secondary School, ECWA Theological Seminary in Igbaja, and the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
He started his ministerial career as a field Evangelist between 1972 and 1979 and was a former Don at the Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary.
He has served as the 2nd District Superintendent, CAC Ehin Ogbe, Owo, Ondo State, he has also served in the East, Northern part of this country, He was the District Superintendent Ijebu DCC, coincidentally.
Pastor S .l Jaiyeoba will be serving as the Regional superintendent of Sophia Ajayi Region which was named after the great Prophetess in Ekiti state by Christ Apostolic Church Authority
