Association of Nigerian Authors (Ondo State Chapter) is calling for submission of quality poems and essays/short stories from writers across Nigeria and beyond for consideration into the proposed Anthology named above.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES/RULES:
1. Only poems essays/reviews/short stories are accepted for the Anthology.
2. Entrant must specify the genre of entry; that is, specify if it is poetry, essay, review or short story.
3. Submission MUST relate to or be themed on Basorun Arogbofa as
i. A person (his personality and beliefs);
ii. A writer (his works, literary activism/prowess)
iii. A philosopher (his philosophy of life and legacies)
iv. Other areas (such as human rights, morality, unity and peaceful coexistence, good family living, quality education, good governance, social responsibility and national development; and others, which his life reflects).
4. Entries must be as brief and concise as possible — maximum of 500 words for essays/reviews/short stories, and maximum of 30 lines for poetry.
5. Author’s information — contact address, phone number, e-mail address, with a short bio, NOT more than 50 words, should be included in the submission.
6. Submission is FREE.
7. Entry MUST be the original work of the author/poet. The Association will not be liable to any PLAGIARIZED WORK, not discovered by our Editorial Team before publication.
8. Multiple submissions, not more than FIVE (for poem) and TWO (for others) are allowed.
9. Entrant may choose/write on any interesting title of his/her choice.

12. Entry and its title MUST be type-written and sent in Microsoft word as an ATTACHMENT. Entries sent as not as attachment will be automatically disqualified.
13. Submission Deadline: 30th October 2022.
Late entry/submission will not be ACCEPTED.
14. Entry may be written in either English / Yoruba

● All successful/accepted submissions will be published in the proposed Anthology (soft and hard copies).
● Online promotion of successful/published works and the entrants.
● All successful entrants will receive Certificate of Participation.
● Each successful entrant is entitled to ONE author’s copy of the published Anthology.
