The National Rescue Movement (NRM) Ondo State Chapter has vowed to give a good fight and won majority positions, especially the Federal House of Representatives during the forthcoming Presidential and House representatives elections.
The candidate for the Akoko North/East and North/West federal constituency, Mr Shina Omolabaro, made the disclosure at the weekend in Akure, the Ondo State capital while speaking with Journalists on the preparation of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Omolabaro, also reiterated the readiness of his party to participate and won majority seats during the elections, vowed to give a hot chase to any other political parties that would also compete with him, especially in his own Federal Constituency.
He explained that arrangement has been concluded by members of his political party to maintain peace and decorum during the ongoing campaign, assured that his political party would be triumph and victorious during the exercise.
Omolabaro, who is contesting for the Federal House of Representatives in Akoko Noth/ East and North/West Federal Constituency of Ondo State, called on other political party to emulate the NRM and maintain peace before, during and and after the conduct of tye elections.
His words: "We are ready to participate fully in all the election and won majority seats, oun campaigns will be issued-based and devoid of any political riot or vendetta, we are into the race to spring a surprise and emerge victorious
"We conducted credible primaries and supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to show the level of our preparedness and level of our compliance with the electoral guidelines" he stated.
Speaking on the guidelines released by the INEC as relate to campaigns and others, the NRM House of Representatives flagbearer described it as best and reiterated the readiness of his party to comply with the guidelines and as well contribute to the success of the 2023 elections.
He also condemned the actions of some political parties who he said have engaged themselves in free for all in some parts of the country, explained that their actions was as a result of incompetence of their candidates.
While urging leaders of various political parties participate in the exercise to abide with the rules and regulations as stipulated in the new electoral law. Also stressed the needs for them to caution their members and allow peace to reign during the conduct of the exercise.
