Ace Owena Press journalist, Saheed Ibrahim has emerged Best Journalist in Ondo State at the Professional Awards Night organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Chapter.
He also won the Investigative Reporter of the Year Award, both in the print category.
He, some days ago, bagged Distinction in Communication and Language Arts Master's Degree programme at the prestigious University of Ibadan.
His reports on teenage pregnancy, teenage prostitution and teenage drug abuse in Ondo State earned him the accolades.
Speaking with journalists, he said the awards were proofs of consistent hardwork and promised to continue to do more.
Three of his co-staff also won accolades at the Awards Night. Maria Famakinwa won Grassroots Reporter of the Year, Femi Atolagbe retained his award as Sports Journalist of the Year while Peter Oluwadare won the Photojournalist of the Year Award.
Coincidentally, Ibrahim's buddy, Juliet Buna of OSRC also bagged double awards in the TV category, winning the Investigative Reporter of the Year and Journalist of the Year Awards.

Ronke Ayoola - Information Officer of the Year
Augustine Adeoye - Press Officer of the Year
