Chairman, Ikole Local Government, Sola Olominu flags off renovation of quarter

The Executive Chairman of Ikole Local Government, Hon. Prince Sola Olominu on Thursday, 6th of April flagged-off the renovation of the local government Chairman's quarter. 

Newsline NG learnt that the Chairman's quarter have been left dilapidated for years.

The Chairman, Hon. Prince Sola Olominu promised to bring back the beauty of the building with modern-day architectural plans, coupled with the engineering facelift of the edifice.

In his words he said the renovation of the building after completion will bring effectiveness to governance at the grassroots, thereby reducing the cost of governance in the local government.

Speaking at the flag-off, the Chairman felicitate the governor of Ekiti State, his excellency Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his election triumph at the Supreme Court and appreciated the governor for his support for good governance in the sixteen (16) local governments, LCDAs and general welfare of the state. 



"The people of Ikole Local Government were not left out as Honourable Olominu applaud the people for coming out in significant numbers during the just concluded House of Assembly elections in the state, he urged them to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration at all levels.

Olominu however promised the people more dividends of democracy and implore them to keep supporting his administration morally and prayerfully.

Newsline NG however gathered that People turn in to praise Honourable Sola Olominu for commencing and delivering on the promise of renovating the Ikole town hall in November last year, 

They unanimously expressed their willingness to start using it when the project is commissioned for use.
