Ibi-Giga Ambassador frowns at sycophancy of politicians

.... says it is a tool of disharmony and disunity

Mrs. Betty Akeredolu, the First Lady of Ondo State, has indeed come under heavy media attacks and smear campaigns in recent times. However, it is important to note that she is well within her rights to celebrate her 70th birthday, as it is a significant milestone in anyone's life. Furthermore, her status as a breast cancer survivor who has overcome great adversity only adds to the importance of this celebration.

Unfortunately, some individuals have chosen to attack Mrs. Akeredolu simply for wanting to celebrate her special day. It is important to remember that everyone deserves to celebrate their life and achievements, regardless of their position or status. Mrs. Akeredolu has been a strong advocate for women's health and empowerment, and her survival and resilience in the face of breast cancer are an inspiration to many.

In addition, Mrs. Akeredolu's bold and unapologetic approach to pursuing her beliefs and defending her family is commendable. She has been a vocal advocate for scientific and religious beliefs and has not been afraid to speak out on issues that matter to her. This kind of courage and conviction is rare in public figures and should be celebrated rather than attacked.

It is also important to note that attacking Mrs. Akeredolu is not only unfair but also disrespectful to her husband, the Governor of Ondo State. The Governor is currently away on medical treatment, and it is unacceptable to use his absence as an opportunity to attack his family members. The First Lady deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, not subjected to baseless attacks and smear campaigns.

I admire Mama Betty personally, she might not be right all the time, no human being is, but scrutinizing and forming insinuations around a family that was formed over four decades ago, from the time Aketi was just an appellation and all these achievements you see today and claims to be part of were mere wishes. Raise wonderful children that today are answers to parents' prayers, to when Aketi broke records as two times NBA president, a life bencher, and got retainer ships in so many multinationals before their family becomes first family is unfair. If Aketi is not well-bred, supported and well grown, and disciplined, will you have wanted him as a governor?
mama is also right in professing her belief in sciences and Western medications which her experience as a breast cancer survivor has thought her.

Her birthday is still more than a month away, she will celebrate it with Aketi by her side.

In conclusion, Mrs. Betty Akeredolu is a strong and resilient woman who deserves to celebrate her 70th birthday without fear of media attacks or smear campaigns. Her survival and resilience in the face of breast cancer are an inspiration to many, and her bold and unapologetic approach to pursuing her beliefs and defending her family should be celebrated. We should all stand with her and support her right to celebrate this important milestone in her life.
