The Christ Apostolic Church, Sophia Ajayi Region has inducted the newly elected executives under the leadership of RS Major Adegboyega Ogunmodede for the next four years in office
The Regional Commander, RS Brig. General Pius Ogunjobi administered the oath of office as the new executives were inducted on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at CAC Oke Ayo, Ado DCC, Ekiti state.
In his address, The New Divisional Commandant, RS Major Micheal Adegboyega Ogunmodede while congratulating the inductee admonished them to be of good conduct.
His words "It is with a great pleasure that I deliver this address at this epoch-making event. Foremost, I want to appreciate the Almighty God, the real Chief host of the Ado Divisional Council of the Royal Shepherds for granting us the grace and sound health to witness the ground-breaking ceremony of my second term in office as Ado Divisional Commander and the swearing-in of new Executives"
The Efon Alaaye-born Officer, also appreciated his boss and predecessor for standing by him from 2018 till today, Evang. Gabriel Asamu,
"I appreciate your mentorship and immense support, and to my mentor, father, teacher, and my leader, RS Brigadier General Pastor Pius Ogunjobi, the Regional Commander of the Royal Shepherds, Sophia Ajayi Region"
Ogunmodede while highlighting scorecards in the last four years in office revealed that his successes in both state and national level, is worthwhile
"This unit is created in order not to allow any of our members to be idle: Prayers and Evangelism unit, Orchestra unit, Band Unit, Choir unit, Drama unit, Color and Quarter Guards unit, Media unit, Medical Unit, we also constitute some committees: Project committee, Visitation committee, and Disciplinary Committee"
In his goodwill message, the Regional Commander, RS Brig. General Ogunjobi congratulated the new executives and urged them to be good ambassadors for Christ
"I want to welcome you all to the event, I appreciate you for gracing this occasion of the swearing-in of new executives and inauguration of assistant Chaplain, patron, and patroness, thank you for coming," he said
" let me say one or two things about Ado Divisional Council, by the grace of God, ado divisional council is one of the leading divisions in Ekiti State, he thanked God for the grace God has given to the leadership of the division adding that the Ado Band Corps training clips have been forwarded to the National for review "
"The clips will be used as a template for our national band corps training if approved by the NEC adding that the Nigerian army will be coming for the national program. Thank you very much for organizing that wonderful program
"Also by the grace of God, we will be having a thanksgiving service for sparing the life of the Regional Commander who was involved in an accident three months ago" he added
Pastor Ogunjobi charged all awardees to donate generously to the ongoing project of the division secretariat adding that we are hoping to complete the project anytime soon
He noted that Royal Shepherd members should not be found in dire places as the organization is a Christian-based organization, we have to portray Royal Shepherd in good manners
He urged all members to keep the flag flying in ado divisional council
In his sermon at the swearing-in ceremony, The Regional Superintendent, Pastor S.I.Jayeoba who was represented by Pastor Hope Ayeni highlighted seven requirements that a good Christian should work on
"Christians need to be Submissive unto God, having total dependence on God, live a holy lifestyle, must be humble, thirty to be of Christ Like, always bearing Christ's burden on our shoulders, and setting our treasures in heaven
He however enjoined them to walk in the grace and knowledge of God.
