My name is Olusanya Olawunmi Elizabeth Popularly known as Oluwaplatinum, a graduate of Political science from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, i hype and also sing.
Did did you choose hyping as a career? Why?
Yes, I chose hyping and hyping chose me and I love it right now because I'm enjoying it
How did the journey started
it all started when I was still young, we are five in our family, I have an elder sister that sing so well, because of this, they normally choose her to take praise and worship during rehearsal, all of us used to do thorough rehearsal ahead of Sunday, some of us will be beating table especially me which normally resulted to pain in my hand, it got to a point I'll be using my mouth to do beat, at that time I didn't know it was something I could do with words, I was just doing it with mouth and then I thought I wanted to learn gangan, but there are things that come our way that actually don't happen, notwithstanding anywhere I hear people singing I will be using my mouth to do gangan like that I grew up to be a very good singer if I go to any church to minister and they don't have gangan I might be disappointed a little, but that does not mean I will not sing but I love gangan and I love hyping and I think I'm adding it to my profile now, I love Yoruba song so well and that really made me fall in love with Alujo hyping and when you hype it makes your song fascinating to people, they will want to hear you well
How did you get inspiration
I get inspiration through listening to Alujo music, if I start playing Alujo I can do my hyping, even if I don't listen to Alujo just give me any song, immediately I listen to that song, the inspiration will just come, let me just say that's the help of God for me in God have his way of dealing with me, he has his way of doing things with me, I don't have problem getting my inspiration, my inspiration is just from God, it's natural and very easier and simple for me to get, is not like until I crack my brain before I know what to say, God has really made it easy for me.
What is your aim in the hyping you've chosen
My aim is to become a great and a special hype woman in the whole world, I want to be the first to be recorn with when it comes to hyping and it's going to be Godly, the hyping has its own relevant in the secular world, when you go out there like club and schools, you will see the way they spray the hype women and how people are dancing to hyping, you will feel like with all of these nonsense they are saying so people can still be dancing, if they can be doing that in the secular world, why can't we do it also in the Christiandom, as a matter of fact, there is a channel in which you can preach the gospel and people will want to listen to you, it is not you say accept Jesus Christ, some people will not even want to listen to you because they will be like you're too deep for them, but when you go through what they understand, they will stand and they will want to listen to you. I am actually doing this to capture people's heart to God, I am also using it to help myself.
Your advice for upcoming artiste
Seek God first, if you don't seek God first, you will be put to Shame, no matter what you want to do ask God, if you don't have the mouth to ask him there are Pastors that can help you, but if you're doing things on your own without his knowledge, He'll just be looking at you, until you are put to shame that's now when you will come back to Him, and by then you would have wasted so many years on that wrong path, at the end of the day you will now come back to God for direction after you might have wasted so many years, right now that you're still coming up, I would advise us to always seek God first so that you will know what to do at the right time, if you don't seek him he'll just be looking at you and your wasted years. Apart from that if you are doing your craft please don't copy be unique, God has really created us with so much concept unless you are not ready to explore, create your own craft, let people know you as somebody that is different with your own craft.
Consistency is the key, if you are not consistent in your craft, people will not take you serious. Anything you're doing let there be consistency in your craft, be hard working, if you are not hard working people will not know you and you will not see result. If you want to pray make sure you have worked atleast it is with your work that God will now lay his hand upon that's when you will be proud to say God has blessed me and that I have work for this and God had mercy on me.
