The NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Amaramiro Pepple has underscored the importance of corps members, saying that they are indispensable entity in camp administration.
The State Coordinator made this known by the sidelines, while addressing Platoon Leaders and Hostel Governors during a Lunch with them at the Orientation Camp .
Pepple, who charged them on the need to be role models and resist the urge to engage in attitudes unbecoming of someone highly valued and treasured, disclosed that the management of the laudable Scheme placed much premium on them.
"My dear patriotic and compatriots in the national service, NYSC sees the important roles you can play individually and collectively and has made it a point of duty to integrate you into the mainstream of camp administration and the decision had become institutionalised and we are happy for this development but you need to justify the confidence reposed in you and showcase the leadership traits we discover in you for the overall benefit of your colleagues and humanity in general".
The State Coordinator, while encouraging them to imbibe the virtue of humility when relating to one another as well as camp officials, described positive character as the hallmark of good leader.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Scheme in Ondo State intimated the new set of leaders that NYSC is looking up to them to change the narrative of labelling the graduate youths as people of easy virtue. He charged them to remain positive and be focused in their challenging journeys of life.
Conclusively, the exemplary father of the graduate youths who have displayed high level of cooperation and discipline reminded them of the need to always live and act the motto of the NYSC, which is Service and Humility.
