The Olukare of Ikareland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Akadiri Momoh, JP, CON has assured the NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Amaramiro Pepple that he is willing and looking forward to working with him.
The monarch gave the assurance in his palace when he received in audience, the new Chief Executive Officer of the laudable Scheme in Ondo, the Sunshine State.
Oba Momoh, who once served as the Chairman, Ondo State Council of Traditional Rulers asserted that NYSC has been a great blessing to the indigenes and residents of Ikareland.
The highly respected first class and prominent king in Ondo State said that his people would rally support for NYSC in Ondo State because of the value the noble Scheme has brought to the ancient town.
In his opening remarks, the NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Amaramiro Pepple said that NYSC has lots of respect for the monarch as a result of his invaluable contributions to the NYSC.
The State Coordinator disclosed that he was in the palace to give honour to whom it is due and to seek his royal blessings as well as support to expand the horizon of the Scheme in Ondo, the Sunshine State.
"Your Royal Majesty Sir, my visit to the palace is to formally announce my arrival into the State and to immensely appreciated you for all what you have done for the Scheme, and like Oliver Twist, seek your assistance and support to appeal to public spirited individuals and group of people to help rebuild the dilapidated structures at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ikare-Akoko".
He noted that the camp, being among the few remaining old orientation camps in the country needed total restructuring and provision of modern facilities to restore its ancient glory.
Pepple, therefore appealed to the eminent custodian of the culture and heritage of Ikare people to use the divine and ultimate honour bestowed upon him by the Almighty to rally support for the Scheme in the State.

The NYSC Ondo State helmsman did not fail to acknowledge the security apparatus put in place to protect the members of the service corps who are serving the nation within the jurisdiction of the domain of the traditional ruler.
The royal father who has friends across all the divides and worked in other geopolitical zone, including Rivers State, the home state of the NYSC Coordinator prayed that God Almighty will guide him throughout his tenure in the land.
