Ondo State coord hosts approved religious bodies's Excos, urges them to respect the sanity of worship centers

The NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Amaramiro Pepple has admonished the executives of the NYSC approved religious bodies to respect the sanctity of worship centres during orientation course.

The State Coordinator made the admonition when executives of the religious bodies met with him at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ikare-Akoko.

Pepple, noted that worship centres, are sacred and abode of the Almighty God and so, should be revered rather than being desecrated to serve as hiding places for Corps members who are not willing to participate in camp activities.

"Management frowns at the unwholesome attitude of some Corps members who use worship Centres as places of refuge during the orientation course. The Orientation Course guideline stipulated that all registered Corps members must participate actively in all camp programmes and activities, and I want you henceforth, to encourage your members to abide by the rules".

The State Coordinator appealed to the executives of the Muslim Corpers Association of Nigeria (MCAN), National Association of Catholic Corpers (NACC) and Nigerian Christians Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) to join in the campaign against night travels throughout the service year which according to him would yield positive result.

He admonished them to see themselves as one, despite the differences in the mode of worship, saying that all are praying to only one God and the creator of heaven and earth and all that is therein.

The NYSC Ondo State boss enjoined them to be role models, positive influencers and good ambassadors of the faith they professed, saying that God will reward their individual and collective sacrifices at the due season.

The NYSC helmsman in Ondo, the Sunshine State declared that the management will not compromise the orientation course contents and warned them to abide strictly to the time allotted for religious bodies as the management will view seriously any encroachment on camp programmes and activities.

The State Coordinator encouraged them to be disciplined inwardly and in their outward appearances and stay in one place instead of moving round without cogent reasons.

The representatives of all these religious bodies welcomed the State Coordinator to Ondo State and prayed that he would succeed just like his predecessors did.

They promised to operate their respective religious activities in line with the laid down rules and regulations of the Scheme.
