The NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Amaramiro Pepple has told Heads of Collaborating Agencies that have been drafted to work with NYSC personnel at the forthcoming 2024 Batch 'A' (Stream II) orientation course that they should see the assignment as that of partners in upholding the objectives of the Scheme.
The State Coordinator made the statement while interacting with NYSC Principal Camp Officials and Heads of the Collaborating Agencies in his office ahead of the orientation course exercise.
"My dear friends and colleagues from various established organisations and institutions, I want you to see this assignment as a collective one which we must all execute with the best intentions and high degree of responsibility. The founding fathers know that a tree cannot make a forest and in their wisdom established this idea of collaboration which has been working for us since the Scheme was established 51 years ago".
Pepple, who hinted that human beings are naturally not given to changes said that the present administration will consolidate on the successes of his predecessors and introduce new far reaching measures that will assist to achieve the overall objectives seamlessly.
"Change, is the only constant variable that is permanent in all human endeavours but some people for reasons best known to them want to remain in their rigid old ways or systems but I want to assure you that the new order of doing things that we are going to introduce and implement henceforth, will be for the good of everyone".
The NYSC Ondo State boss opined that if everyone does his or her job with commitment and sincerity of purpose, the set objectives or target goals would be achieved.
The Camp Director, Mr. Ojo Jonathan Kolawole appreciated the representatives of the collaborating agencies for the support the Scheme had enjoyed in the past and pleaded with them to ensure that all assigned task was achieved in record time.
Kolawole, who is the Assistant Director/Head, Human Resource Management of the Secretariat appealed to those at the meeting to check their health status to determine their fitness level and equally send words through them to their subordinates to check their vital statistics.
